Clinical Roles and Responsibilities

Provides management for critically ill neonates with congenital abnormalities, birth trauma, and extreme prematurity in level III and IV intensive care settings as a Doctoral prepared neonatal nurse practitioner.

Completes advanced practice skills and procedures such as endotracheal intubation, lumbar punctures, and insertion of umbilical lines

Additional privileges in circumcision of male infants with average of ~75 circumcisions per year.

Rotation through three units including two delivery hospitals as well as a referral hospital which provides ECMO in Metropolitan GA.
Academia Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain ongoing relationship with student learners, clinical sites, and preceptors throughout the semester.
